I was initially charmed by the family running this restaurant; all things considered, the waitress was attentive. The swordfish was recommended and what arrived was stringy and fishy. The owner came to our table and told us we were wrong-that's what swordfish tastes like. Fortunately, that is not what swordfish tastes like, when it's fresh. I asked that the chef taste the fish, but was told, "he's too busy". Too busy for quality control and customer retention. Sadly, the owner preferred to leave the old, stringy, smelly fish on our bill. I hope the profit margin is worth this review.

Went to Point to celebrate our son's bday. Decided to try a new place. Started out with some cheese curds -- lightly breaded, delicate flavor, nice and melty. Excellent way to start out. 3 of us had the ribs and one had a burger. Ribs were delish - falling off the bone, but a nice little grill on them that was really tasty. Sauce was really good, and just the right amount. No room for dessert, next time..... Décor was cute -- lots of things to view on the walls. Owners were very nice.

This place has a special spot in my heart. Just down the road from Point Brewery, the food here is quality food made by guys who really know how to cook a steak. The Woodland Filet and Beale Street steaks are my favorite with a side of baby red potatoes. If stopping for lunch, the fiesta and Thai wraps are most popular. I love the fiesta salad with perfectly seasoned chicken, the salmon caesar salad, as well as the garden quesadilla that is made with spinach and artichoke sauce as a creamy ingredient to a slightly crunchy tortilla. I used to work here and I can say with experience that this is going to be one of the cleanest places you will ever eat at. Even all of the knick knack decor you see on the walls is cleaned several times a week, which is incredibly nice to know when picking somewhere to eat.

Had the glazed salmon with veggies--it was okay. When I read "glazed" I don't think swimming in sauce, which is what I got. It was good, I just didn't need or want all that sauce. The veggies were good, but a bit too oily for me. I had pecan pie for dessert. It was good, but not noteworthy.

Nice little place. I like the decors. Service was AWESOME! Food is pretty good. We shared the crab rangoons which was creamy and sweet. He had the prime rib which was absolutely tender and delicious. I had the Thai chicken wrap. It had too much cashews and peanut flavor. I was expecting chucks of chicken. It didn't come with a side dish... I definitely would go back to try the other dishes - like the Ribs.

"Everything on the menu is great at Water Street Grill." That's what I heard prior to going to lunch with three other friends. I have to agree with that statement. They have such a diverse menu that it took me a long time to narrow down what I wanted to try. Everything looked so good and the prices were very reasonable. I decided on the shrimp scampi and was very satisfied. Other dishes by my group were the bbq pork sandwich, chicken teriyaki, and the ribs -- yes, you've got to try the ribs as they are one of the specialties of the restaurant. And we ordered the spinach/artichoke dip as an appetizer. All of us loved what we ordered. Oh, and the margaritas were a hit, too. Although we didn't order them this trip, we've heard the pot stickers are excellent too! The service is very friendly and polite. Next time I'm in Stevens Point I'd like to visit this place again and try the other great food on the menu.

First time stop this evening. I had shrimp and scallops with red potatoes. Was good. Local beer, Point, on tap and is good. Good service and friendly staff. Thanks folks. Well done.

One of the few restaurants in the dense cluster of bars in this area. But they have a bar too of course (one of about 12 or 15 bars I counted in a 3-block radius of each other!). Good food selection. No complaints.
